Poliform UK are pleased to announce its collaboration with Bomma, a Czech company producing lights.  From the beginning the focus has been on artisan craftsmanship, innovative technology and contemporary design.  Bomma design and build using their own cutting machines and tools, and all the glass is hand blown.

The collection Phenomena can be seen at our King's Road Showroom, open 10-6pm, Monday to Saturday.

The local glass factory in Svetla shut down after more than 100 years of glass making. Bomma’s founder Jiri Trtik decided to build his own Manufactory to employ the skilled craftsmen and engineers suddenly left without a job. Europe’s most modern glass Manufactory opened in June 2012. From the beginning the focus was on artisan craftsmanship, innovative technology and contemporary design. We design and build our own cutting machines and tools. All our products are manufactured locally in the Czech Republic.

Our new Glass-Manufactory opened in June 2012. We are the most modern glassworks in Europe and manufacture exceptionally clear crystal components and finished products for high-end brands worldwide.

Bohemia Machine builds cutting robots and production lines for the glass industry since 1992 and is a technological leader in this field.

In our Manufactory we combine delicate hand-blown glass in small to oversize dimensions with automatic precise crystal cutting on our in house developed robots. Our crystal is the clearest in the Czech Republic.

Our craftsmen and engineers combine traditional European glass craftsmanship with innovation & technology.
